1.1 By using Hobbestie you accept and agree to these Terms and to any future modifications. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
1.2 Additional policies apply and are incorporated by reference (Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Seller Terms, Cookie Policy). In case of conflict, these Terms govern the relationship between you and Hobbestie regarding use of the Service.
2.1 Hobbestie is a social platform designed to connect hobbyists worldwide and includes:
Some features require an account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it updated. Keep your password secure and notify Hobbestie immediately of unauthorized use.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If under 18, you must have parental consent. Hobbestie may refuse service at its discretion.
Use the Service lawfully. You may not: violate laws, infringe IP, harass others, post false or deceptive content, spam or advertise unrelated services, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with Service operations, or use automated access without permission.
Content you post should be relevant to hobbies, respectful, appropriate for all ages, original or properly attributed, and free from harmful or illegal material.
The Service and its original content and functionality are owned by Hobbestie and protected by IP laws.
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting content you grant Hobbestie a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service.
When selling digital products you represent you have the right to do so and that they do not infringe third-party rights. You are responsible for any required licensing or royalties.
Premium memberships, if offered, are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You authorize Hobbestie (and its third-party payment processors) to charge applicable fees. Payment details are processed by third-party providers and Hobbestie does not store payment card data.
Hobbestie may charge: a listing fee (if applicable), a transaction fee/commission on sales, and payment processing fees (gateway/bank/processor fees). Platform fees (Apple/Google) apply to in-app purchases and will be passed through as required.
Digital product delivery is web-only. Mobile apps may preview items but cannot provide downloadable copies for purchase made on the web. Download links may expire and access may be revoked for policy violations.
Prices may be shown exclusive or inclusive of taxes depending on region. Hobbestie may collect applicable taxes (VAT/GST) where required. Sellers are responsible for their tax obligations related to sales proceeds. Hobbestie will comply with tax reporting requirements as required by law.
Creators retain ownership of their content but grant Hobbestie the right to host, display, and deliver items sold on the platform. Buyers receive a non-exclusive license to use purchased digital products per the usage terms stated with the product listing (personal vs. commercial licensing must be clearly indicated by the seller). Redistribution without authorization is prohibited.
Hobbestie may suspend, remove, or revoke content or access if it violates Terms, infringes IP, is illegal, or poses other risks.
Hobbestie follows Apple and Google policies: digital goods consumed in the app must be sold via the platform's in-app billing if they unlock features used in the app; therefore, Hobbestie uses IAP for Hobbix tokens and directs digital product purchases to the web to avoid in-app delivery that would require IAP.
Hobbestie will not include in-app links or calls-to-action that improperly steer users to external purchasing flows for digital goods in a way that violates app store rules. Language and UI must be neutral and informational where permitted.
No illegal, infringing, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise harmful content. No instructions that facilitate wrongdoing. No impersonation or fraud. Follow Community Guidelines and copyright rules (including DMCA takedown processes where applicable).
Hobbestie's collection and use of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. By using the Service you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of information as set out in the Privacy Policy.
Hobbestie strives for reliability but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance or outages may occur.
Hobbestie does not endorse or verify user-generated content; users are responsible for their interactions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hobbestie is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill) arising from your use of the Service.
You may terminate your account at any time via account settings or by contacting support.
Hobbestie may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the Service or other users.
Termination ends your right to use the Service; Hobbestie may delete or retain data as required by law or for legitimate business reasons.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Republic of Indonesia.
Disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court to prevent irreparable harm.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and other referenced policies, form the entire agreement between you and Hobbestie regarding the Service.
If a provision is found unenforceable, other provisions remain in effect.
Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
You may not assign these Terms without Hobbestie's consent. Hobbestie may assign its rights and obligations without restriction.
Hobbestie may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated by notice or email where required.
